The 1 3/4" louver is commonly used to replace the older 1 1/4" sizes.
Using the smaller 1 3/4" louvers can really change the appearance of the room, as well as the shutter panels. Most rooms will take on a warmer feel or a cottage type appearance with the 1 3/4" louver, much more than when using the larger sizes. Combining small narrow panels with the small louver will enhance this affect as well.
